Exchange rules

Effective as of October 1, 2026

1. General provisions

1.1. These rules (the “Rules”) govern the relationship between the digital asset exchange service Cryptodot, available at https://cryptodot.org (the “Service”), and the individual using the Service (the “Client”).

1.2. By ticking the box in the order form, the Client confirms that they have read and fully accept the Rules, the AML/KYC/KYT policy and the Privacy policy. An order cannot be created without this confirmation.

1.3. The Service may only be used by legally capable persons aged 18 or over acting on their own behalf and not on behalf of third parties.

1.4. The Service may amend the Rules unilaterally. A new version takes effect when published on this page and does not apply to orders created before publication.

2. Definitions

Order — the Client's instruction to exchange, created via the form on the website and assigned a unique number.

Direction — a “send currency → receive currency” pair with a set rate, limits and reserve.

Reserve — the amount in the receive currency available to the Service for payout in a given direction at the moment.

Confirmation — inclusion of a transaction in a block of the respective blockchain network.

Verification — confirming the Client's identity and/or ownership of a bank card.

AML — anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing measures; KYC — client identification; KYT — screening of transactions for links to illegal activity.

3. Exchange procedure

3.1. The Client selects a direction, enters the amount, payout details and e-mail and creates an order. The amount to receive, the rate and fees are shown before the order is created. When the order is created and each time its status changes, the Service sends an e-mail to the order address with the Client's and the Service's details, the amounts, the payment deadline and the Service's contacts.

3.2. After creating the order, the Client transfers funds within 30 minutes strictly to the details shown on the order page. If payment is not received in time, the order is cancelled automatically.

3.3. Payments from a bank card or account are accepted only from the person named in the order. Third-party transfers are not accepted and are refunded to the sender under Section 7.

3.4. For crypto payments, the order is processed after the required number of network confirmations: BTC — 2, ERC20 — 12, TRC20 — 20, BEP20 — 15, TON — 1, SOL — 1, LTC — 6, XMR — 10, DOGE — 6.

3.5. Payout is made after funds arrive to the Service's details. Typical processing time is 5 to 60 minutes. It may take longer due to network congestion, AML/KYC review, or maintenance at the bank or blockchain.

3.6. The Client can track the order status on the order page or in the “Order status” section by its number.

3.7. The Service is not liable for delays caused by banks or blockchain networks, or for errors in the details provided by the Client. Funds sent to the details specified in the order are deemed properly paid out; for crypto payouts — once the transaction is confirmed by the network. The network fee for payouts is set high enough for the payout to arrive on time.

3.8. The details in a created order are changed only at the Client's request: the Service sends a link to the order e-mail, and the new details take effect only after confirmation via that link.

3.9. An order can be created without registration — an e-mail is enough. The calculator on the home page and on the direction page shows the amount to receive before the order is created. Every order gets a unique number used to track its status.

3.10. Payouts to bank cards and via SBP are made to cards and accounts of Russian banks specified in the order. Cash payouts are made only in the cities listed in the exchange direction: after the funds arrive, the operator contacts the Client via the contact in the order to agree on the place and time, and the cash is handed to the Client in person against the order number. If the handover cannot be agreed within 24 hours, the Client may request a refund under Section 7.

3.11. The Service does not serve Clients from jurisdictions on the FATF “black list” or persons under UN sanctions, nor transactions in their interest (see the AML/KYC/KYT policy).

3.12. A large payout to bank details may be sent in several transfers, usually one or two, to reduce the risk of blocking. The total amount received does not change.

4. Exchange rate

4.1. The rate for each direction is shown on the website and is based on quotes from the KuCoin exchange including the Service's fee. The quote source for a specific pair is shown in the direction terms and on the order page. The Service charges no separate fee on the amount sent.

4.2. For directions paid by bank card, SBP or cash, the rate is locked for 30 minutes from order creation.

4.3. For crypto-paid directions, the rate is floating: the final rate is set when the required confirmations are received. If the rate moves against the Client by more than 1%, the Service e-mails the new amount to the order address before the payout and offers a choice: exchange at the new rate or a refund minus the network fee. Without the Client's consent the order is not paid out at the changed rate.

4.4. If the Client pays after the payment window has expired, the exchange is made at the rate at the time the funds arrive — with the Client's consent — or refunded.

5. Limits and amounts

5.1. Minimum and maximum amounts are shown in the form for each direction. The payout may not exceed the current reserve.

5.2. If the Client sends an amount different from the order, the Service recalculates the payout based on the amount actually received. If it is below the direction's minimum, a refund is made under Section 7.

5.3. The network fee for crypto payouts is shown in the exchange form and is already deducted from the amount to receive.

6. Verification and AML/KYC/KYT

6.1. For card-paid exchanges the Service may request card verification: a photo of the card showing the first 6 and last 4 digits and the cardholder name (other digits and CVV must be covered).

6.2. All incoming and outgoing crypto transactions undergo KYT screening by blockchain analytics services. The screening procedure and grounds for requesting documents and holding funds are described in the AML/KYC/KYT policy, which forms an integral part of these Rules.

6.3. The Service may refuse an exchange without explanation if the operation shows signs of fraud, money laundering or terrorist financing.

7. Refunds

7.1. Refunds are made if: the order was paid after cancellation or with a wrong amount; the payment came from a third party; the Client declined the exchange at a changed rate; verification failed; the exchange is impossible for technical reasons on the Service's side.

7.2. Refunds are made to the details the funds came from within 5 business days of the Client's request to support.

7.3. Only the actual costs of the refund are withheld — the network or bank transfer fee. If the refund is caused by the Service's error, funds are refunded in full. Funds that failed AML screening are refunded under clause 7.4.

7.4. Funds held following AML screening are returned as set out in the AML/KYC policy: if the review fails, the refund fee is up to 5% of the amount, but no more than $100 equivalent; if the funds are found legitimate, only the network fee is withheld.

7.5. An erroneous order is an order that cannot be completed because of the Client's actions: payment of a wrong amount or after the payment deadline, a transfer in another network or another coin, wrong payout details.

7.6. To complete an erroneous order or get a refund, the Client contacts support within 60 days of the order's creation. After this period the order is closed, claims on it are not accepted and the funds are not refundable.

8. Liability

8.1. The Service's liability to the Client is limited to the order amount, except as provided in clause 8.4.

8.2. The Service is not liable for the Client's losses from rate fluctuations, errors in details, actions of banks, payment systems and blockchain networks, or for lost profit, except as provided in clause 8.4.

8.3. The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided and the lawful origin of funds.

8.4. The Service is responsible for the quality and legitimacy of the funds it sends to the Client and compensates documented direct losses arising directly from the properties of a transaction made by the Service in the payout (AML marking of the funds sent, the sender being deemed unreliable, an insufficient network fee, etc.), provided the Client has met the exchange terms. Losses from rate changes, the Client's investment decisions and the Client's actions after receiving the funds are not compensated.

9. Force majeure

9.1. The parties are released from liability for failure to perform caused by force majeure: blockchain or banking system failures, actions of public authorities, natural disasters, DDoS attacks and other events beyond the parties' reasonable control. How the Service acts in common cases is set out below.

9.2. A bank restricted the Service's account because of the Client's payment. If, after the payment arrives, a bank restricts the Service's account or card (including with a request about the origin of funds), the Service notifies the Client at the order e-mail within one hour, suspends the order and may ask the Client for a receipt and statement. Once the bank lifts the restriction, the Service pays out at the order rate or returns the funds. The Service reports every change to the order e-mail.

9.3. A bank restricted the Client's account after the payout. If the Client's bank restricts the account or card after a transfer from the Service, the Service provides, at the Client's request and within one business day, the transaction details: order number, date, amount and proof of transfer. The Service does not control and is not liable for the actions of the Client's bank.

9.4. Erroneous transfer by the Client. Funds sent to details other than those on the order page never reach the Service, and the Service cannot return them — the Client should contact their bank or the recipient. If an amount arrives at the Service's details without an order, after the order was cancelled, in a different amount or with an error, the Service, upon the Client's request and proof of transfer (receipt, statement), completes the exchange for the actual amount with the Client's consent or returns the funds under Section 7.

9.5. Wrong network or coin. Crypto sent in another network, as another coin or to the address of another order is returned where technically possible, less the actual cost of the refund (Section 7). Funds on an address the Service has no access to cannot be returned.

9.6. Wrong payout details. If the Client specified wrong details in the order, the payout to them is deemed completed (clause 3.7). The Service provides the transfer details so the Client can contact the bank or the recipient.

10. Claims and disputes

10.1. All order-related questions are handled by support: Telegram @cryptodot_support, e-mail support@cryptodot.org. Please include your order number.

10.2. The Service reviews a claim within 24 hours, in complex cases within 5 business days.

10.3. Communication is conducted only through the official contacts listed on the Contacts page. The Service is not liable for the actions of persons impersonating its staff.

11. Consultations and support

11.1. Before and after payment, all questions about an order are handled in the online chat on the website, in Telegram @cryptodot_support and by e-mail support@cryptodot.org. Please include the order number for a faster reply.

11.2. Support works 24/7, no days off; replies are sent within one hour.

11.3. After paying, press “I have paid” on the order page — the operator sees the payment immediately. The status and all changes are shown on the order page and sent to the order e-mail.

11.4. Service staff never write first, never ask you to pay again or to other details, and never request SMS codes, passwords or seed phrases. Payment details are shown only on the order page on cryptodot.org.

12. Personal data

12.1. To process an order, the Service handles the e-mail, payment details, cardholder name, contact, amounts, IP address and browser data, and for verification — documents provided by the Client.

12.2. Order data is stored for at least 5 years after the order is completed on secure servers in Germany (EU) and is shared with third parties only in the cases listed in the Privacy policy.

12.3. The personal account password is stored only as a hash — Service staff cannot see it and never ask for it.
